On behalf of Bob White's Karate Studio we want to thank everyone who helped make the Third Annual Bob White Invitational a rousing success. We had 335 competitors from all over Southern California who participated in a day filled with fun and camaraderie.
Special Guests included Master John Sepulveda, Sigung Steven LaBounty, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Lawrence and all the way from Ireland, just for the Tournament, was Professor Edward Downey
Thanks to the Competitors, Volunteers, Sponsors, Silent Auction, Students and Families of BWKS, we were able to proudly present a check of $48,000 to the Royal Family Kids Camp. This is double what we presented in 2007 and will send over 70 abused and neglected children to summer camp where they will build positive memories.
Thanks to Ken Kellogg and Ed Byng we had a bigger and better facility. Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa graciously donated their High School Gymnasium. We had the capacity to seat 1200 folks, all with great viewing. This bigger and better facility had great parking, snack bar, outside picnic area, covered registration and staging areas and more.
