Special Guests included Master John Sepulveda, Sigung Steven LaBounty, Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Lawrence and all the way from Ireland, just for the Tournament, was Professor Edward Downey

Thanks to the Competitors, Volunteers, Sponsors, Silent Auction, Students and Families of BWKS, we were able to proudly present a check of $48,000 to the Royal Family Kids Camp. This is double what we presented in 2007 and will send over 70 abused and neglected children to summer camp where they will build positive memories.

Thanks to Ken Kellogg and Ed Byng we had a bigger and better facility. Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa graciously donated their High School Gymnasium. We had the capacity to seat 1200 folks, all with great viewing. This bigger and better facility had great parking, snack bar, outside picnic area, covered registration and staging areas and more.

• We will start promptly at 9:00
• The Bids for the Silent Auction will also start at 9:00am. If you have anything to contribute please contact Gerry Schmidt.
• Don't forget the SHOWMANSHIP DIVISION. Check it out on the Divisions page and get your team together.
• Pre-registration is Important to you and to the tournament committee. First of all you will receive a FREE T-shirt if registered by February 1st, and it will give the committee a better handle on the event. If your studio does not have the forms CALL US and we will get them out to you, The easiest way is to REGISTER ON-LINE or you can print out the form and FAX it or mail it in to BWKS.
• Remember, You can sign up for ALL Four divisions for Only $25.00, so dust off your sparring gear and bring your teams.
• Be informed, read the rules and get acquainted with them.
• Food will be available for purchase if you choose not to pack a lunch.
• A referees Meeting will be held at 8:30 to go over the rules, If you want to volunteer, please contact Mr. White or Gordon Alexander for details.
